- 5 Cups of Green Beans, washed and trimmed
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 4 strips of Bacon
- 1 Tbls. Butter
- Feta cheese
Instructions
- Fill microwave safe bowl with Green Beans and 1/2 cup of water. Cover with plastic wrap, cut 1 inch slit in the top, and cook in microwave for 3-4 minutes, or until cooked. Cook bacon until crispy, remove from pan and chop. Pour out all but 1 Tablespoon of bacon grease from the pan. Add garlic, green onion, and shallot to the pan, and cook for about 3 minutes on medium-low heat. Add butter and bacon to the pan. When butter has melted, remove from heat and add green beans. Toss the beans to coat. Sprinkle with feta cheese. Enjoy!
