You will love this Avocado Dill Tuna Salad, perfect for snacking with crackers or in a sandwich.
Okay I couldn’t stop with the green theme this week!! I have been at a crossroads when it comes to tuna/ chicken salads. I used to only use greek yogurt in them to create that creamy goodness. Then since whole30 I have been using mayo! Mayo is great, don’t get me wrong, but you end up having to use ALOT of it to make your tuna salad as creamy as I like it. So what to do? Insert my favorite healthy fat of all time! AVOCADO! This stuff packs the creamy and works perfectly with dill to make this tuna salad bright and perfect for spring. I also added fun stuff like red onion, chopped pickles and cucumber to add the crunch that you need with the creamy.
Okay now I’ve convinced you that this tuna is delish. Right? Onto important things like how cute is that bowl? Love finding these little cheap gems at target! I also hollowed out most of these cucumber pieces and stuffed them with tuna, which I shared on instagram earlier. Pop a few of those in your mouth and you are good to go! Perfect blend of protein, healthy fat & veggie!
