Frequently Asked Questions

What pan should l use for these crepes?

  • You should only use a non stick pan for this recipe. If you use stainless steal or cast iron it will stick to the pan. These crepes are soo thin that you will need the ease of the non stick pan to make sure the crepe is complete flipped and then removed.

Can I use any protein powder?

  • Yes! Just make sure you actually like the taste of it as that will be the flavor of the crepes. Use whatever you have or the one you always use in your smoothies, even if it’s chocolate and peanut butter (like my fav protein powder Flavcity (my code is REALFOOD15)).

    1. Hi Kelsey,

I know you said to eat them right away after making. My question is do you think they would hold up if I refrigerated them right away? I was thinking of making a large batch in advance and microwaving them when I wanted to eat them.

      Thanks!

      Kayla

  3. Thanks so much for this! Love these- and am always looking for ways to mix up egg whites for variety! Made these this weekend and my whole family loved them!

  4. I made these today with Arbonne’s Vanilla protein powder! I also made a chocolate filling using Arbonne’s Chocolate protein powder, just the powder and a little almond milk until it was a “frosting”. Sprinkled some chopped nuts and I can’t believe how amazingly good it tasted and it filled me! Between the crepes and the filling, it was 2 scoops of powder which is a meal serving for us, so was perfect for my meal! Great recipe!

This recipe is so great! It’s so fast and easy. I added a drop of vanilla extract and it added to the flavor of egg. Smaller pan the better, and flip them fast. So good!

I added one whole egg, 4 packets of splenda and 2 tablespoons of dark cocoa powder. Then sprinkled splenda over the cooked crepes! Excellent recipe. Thanks for posting!

These were fantastic! We filled them with a little cottage cheese and topped a few blackberries. I also added a dash of cinnamon to the mix. Thank you for this!
