WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!  Hi everyone.  Thursday night was Matt and my 6 year anniversary.  We had a beautiful picnic on the beach planned and I was so excited.  We got to the beach and were enjoying the beautiful weather.  Then Matt let me know that he had a surprise for me and we had to head home and get the car.  We rushed home then drove to this “surprise”.  Then we pulled up at the canals in Naples, a part of Long Beach.  He had booked us a gondola ride!  I was so excited.  We got in the gondola and rode around the canals looking at all the fancy houses and drinking champagne.  Then as the sun was setting he got down on one knee to grab the card he had for our anniversary.  He told me to read it aloud and as I did so he pulled something out of his pocket.  In a shakey and sweet voice he asked me to marry him.  Then I proceeded to cry uncontrollably. It was such a beautiful moment and the ring is INCREDIBLE! He then told me that our parents and my sister and her hubs were at a restaurant waiting for us to celebrate.  It was the prefect night.
