The most wonderful time of the year is upon us!!! It is our first Christmas in our condo and Matt and I have been loving every minute. We got a fake tree from home depot on black friday and set it up right when we got home. While listening to A Charlie Brown Christmas CD of course. All we need now is a bit of garland for our mantle and a few more twinkle lights and we will be set. The season really is not complete without a good dose of baking and chocolate. These cookies are so tasty, especially if you are a sprinkle fanatic like me. You can either roll your dough in sprinkles if you love them, or sprinkle them on top if you aren’t too crazy for them. You really could even not use sprinkles at all… but lets not get hasty. I used the base recipe from my Peppermint Hot Cocoa Cookies but without chocolate chips and peppermint extract. These are rich and chewy so the sprinkles add that nice crunch. The Christmas sprinkles make these a holiday treat, but you can use any ol kind and have there year round. First make your dough in about 3 minutes… then roll dough balls in your sprinkles!
Get those sprinkles all up in there.
Bake and watch those crinkles come out!
