  • Cranberry Sauce– jared cranberry sauce works great
  • BBQ Sauce– use whatever your favorite kind of BBQ sauce is
  • Brown Sugar
  • Garlic Powder– for an extra kick you can add
  • Black Pepper
  • Frozen Meatballs– ground beef, turkey or chicken will work
  • Brie– I used a small wheel of brie and chopped it up to create similar size pieces
  • Parsley– gives these meatballs a fun green pop

Step By Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large pot combine cranberry sauce, bbq sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder & black pepper.
  3. Add in frozen meatballs, stir and cover to heat through.
  4. Once warmed, scoop meatballs out of the sauce and place on a parchment lined baking sheet and top each meatball with a small slice of brie. Put a toothpick in the top of keep the brie from falling off.
  5. Pour the remaining sauce into a bowl for dipping.
  6. Place meatballs in the oven for 5 minutes to melt brie. Place meatballs on a serving platter with the sauce and top each with chopped parsley.

  • These meatball are best to be cooked right when you want to enjoy them, you need them to be warm and melty to get the brie melted and just perfect. If you would like to prep head of time, you can pop everything but the brie into a crockpot to warm and come together.

Cranberry Brie Meatballs

Ingredients 

For the Sauce:

  • 1 can, 14 oz jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 bottle, 12 oz bbq sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 bag, about 32 oz frozen pre-cooked meatballs** (beef or turkey work well)
  • Small wheel of brie, sliced into cubes
  • Parsley to top

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large pot combine cranberry sauce, bbq sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder & black pepper.
  • Add in frozen meatballs, stir and cover to heat through.
