It’s Tuesday so clearly, it’s time for a cocktail! You know I love light drinks using my honey syrup, so if you are a bourbon lover, stay tuned! This drink could not be easier to make and is so refreshing for a warm day. This weekend was really nice and warm so we had our first official beach day of the year! We packed up our beach wagon, beach tent, cooloer, tons of beach blankets, diaper bag, toys for ruthie, chairs, matts surfboard… yeah we bring a lot of stuff. We had so much fun soaking up the sun but MAN beach days are a bit more exhausting than they used to be! Ruthie is crawling non stop and is at an age where she loves to play with a toy for 1-2 minutes then throws it and crawls to something else. So you can imagine how fun keeping her entertained while trying to keep her from crawling over the the sand and eating it is!! 🙂 But no matter how busy she keeps me, seeing her in a cute little swimsuit and hat is the best thing ever!
The best part about beach days in my opinion is coming home, showering and getting in comfy clothes. Nothing better. Then of course pouring a cocktail while the baby naps. This cocktail is so post beach day worthy and there are only three ingredients – bourbon, orange sparkling water and honey syrup. Simple as can be and begging to be made!

Kelsey! I can’t wait to try this recipe! I’ve been on a bourbon kick!!! Two very important questions for you…. 1.) Where did you get those glasses? I LOVE THEM! 2.) Where would I find honey syrup? Do I make that myself?
