This one is for my fellow food bloggers! I have loved creating recipe videos to demonstrate how recipes come together and wanted to share how to edit a recipe video in iMovie & photoshop! There is no need to get any special video editing software, all you need to do is get creative with what you have! I put the step by step into a handy video for you below. This is how I put together the video for these Paleo Blueberry Lemon Donuts.
I had gotten many questions on how I edited my recipe videos and if I used a fancy editing software so I thought I put together this tutorial for you! I find using a mix of iMovie & Photoshop works best for me as iMovie is simpler to understand for certain components, then Photoshop gives you the flexibility to add texts that correspond with your brand and crop however you like. You can add in photos and logos easily in photoshop too. In this video you see that I use a DSLR and a tripod (linked below) but I have also used my iphone before and placed it on top of books with more on top to keep it steady. There are many ways to get creative depending on what you have to work with!
Tripod I use: Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 055 Aluminium 3-Section Tripod with Horizontal Column (Black)
Ball Head:Manfrotto 324RC2 light duty grip ball head
Camera I have: Nikon D3000 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens
