I don’t know about you but I am a huge fan of Moscow Mules. Well any cocktail with ginger beer involved is usually at the top of my list… hello Dark & Stormys! I also happen to have a deep love for apples and all apple related beverages. I am one of those apple a day people and truly believe the little pleasures in life, like a Fuji at 3PM at work, really make life worth living. So you can imagine what went through my mind when I saw this Stoli apple vodka at Trader Joe’s. After doing a mini flash mob in my head I quickly shuffled over to the drink aisle to load up on ginger beer and sparkling apple cider. Now I know that this drink has some sugar in it but COME ON PEOPLE. Drink this on a weekend and don’t feel bad about it for one second. Ya hear? One warning though. These are ridiculously easy to drink. Too easy actually. I made this recipe and shot it at about 2:00 PM on a Saturday and thought “I’ll just take a sip and put the rest in the fridge for later”… yeah like that happened. Luckily it was my last recipe of the day and after tasting this cocktail I decided that the couch and I could just have a nice little party the rest of the day. But don’t worry, I ate all of my garnish apples so it was a super healthy decision.
Beautiful ingredient line up!
