38 days people!!!! In 38 days I get to marry the man of my dreams!! I am so so excited. And with all of the fun celebrations happening before the big day it is extra important that I eat well during the week and work out when I can! Matt and I have gotten really creative with our protein shakes lately and this Quest vanilla protein powder is so tasty! Also it is only 100 calories for a huge scoop which is awesome. One of my favorite flavor combos is orange and vanilla. Who doesn’t love that creamsicle taste?? We normally use the unsweetened almond milk but I tried this with regular vanilla almond milk and it is so perfect! I just used 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1/2 cup of orange juice, 1/2 scoop of protein powder and some ice which was about 150 calories in total. This is great for a quick breakfast or a pre or post workout shake. Here is my ingredient line up>>
Just a quick blend with some ice and voila!
I may or may not have reused my jar I got at Rainbow Juices in Long Beach. I love cold pressed juice and more and more local shops keep opening up in LB! And when they come in these adorable jars I couldn’t help myself.
Let me just be honest, I sucked this shake down in about 2 minutes after I took these photos.
Enjoy!
