Cinnamon Tahini Green Smoothie & my New Delta Faucet!
True life: I love my kitchen. Correction, I am OBSESSED. I just can’t even believe it’s really ours and I gaze at it everyday. If you follow along you know we bought a house at the end of November and before we moved in, we started our dream kitchen renovation! With the fact I work in my kitchen, a few things were very important to me. A good stove and fridge were up there, but I knew the faucet/ sink area were going to be a huge part for me too! Being a food blogger I am sure it’s no surprise that A LOT of time is spent washing dishes. I had dreams of a kitchen with a touch sensitive faucet where I could avoid touching it with my hands when they are super dirty or just touched raw meat. I had my eye on this Delta Trinsic Pro Single Handle Pull-Down Spring Spout Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology for weeks once I started looking and nothing could compare in my mind!! When my friends at Delta sent one along to me I was beyond excited!!! I have now been using it for 2 months and it still makes me GIDDY every time I use it. You can touch any part of it and it will turn on if the knob is turned on. So when I start cooking I turn it on then tap it off and use the tap function the whole time! And since I am always cooking it’s basically always switched on!! 🙂 I have found the tap function is super helpful for saving water because usually I am lazy when rinsing stuff to go into the dishwasher and leave it on the whole time (I know horrible Californian). But now its easy to graze the back of my hand on the top to stop it. I kind of feel like i’m in Back to the Future or something – I love the world these days!! To show you how my new faucet friend helps me every day, I thought I would share a simple and delish smoothie I make!
What’s in my Cinnamon Tahini Green Smoothie:
First – rinse that spinach!! I love the spray function for when I am washing my veggies and cleaning up my sink.
Then I just add all my ingredients in my blender and it blends in no time!
Aaaaand back to the spray for cleaning out my blender! I got my faucet in “artic stainless” so it would match all of our stainless steel appliances! It always looks beautiful!
