Decorations are what Christmas is all about. The holiday season would not be nearly as much fun if you didn’t put up twinkle light and pull out the box labeled “X-Mas Decor.” Put if you are like me and just starting to celebrate holidays in your own place, that box is more like a little bag. And if you are in a budget you can’t really waste money on too many decorations. That is why this time of year it pays to be crafty! If you are looking for a fun and easy DIY project to do this holiday season, I advise making this snow globe. You can customize it anyway you like and really impress some people. I chose a smaller mason jar, a white christmas tree meant for a train set, and silver glitter!
First, super glue a figure of your choice onto the bottom of the lid of the mason jar.
Then fill the jar almost to the top with water. Add a few drops of glycerin and some glitter.
Squeeze super glue on the top of the jar, then place the lid on top and press down for 30 seconds. The figure will be submerged in the water.
Then screw on the top.
Make sure the glue is dry then turn it over!
Oooooo Ahhhhh!
How clever….you need to venture out on your own. Move over Martha, here comes Kelsey! In a word, FANTASTICAL!
This could be a great project next year for the five god children and me. Thanks.
