In a bowl combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and allspice set aside.
In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer combine butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Combine for 3-5 min until fully mixed together. Add the egg and mix again. Make sure to scrap the sides of the bowl while mixing. Next add the vanilla and mix again.
Next mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, do this in two separate sections so the flour does not fly out of the bowl.
Scoop the dough with a spoon or ice cream scoop and place on the lined cookie sheet, you will need to chill these in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 8 min then spin the cookie sheet and bake for another 6 minutes. Cool before enjoying.
