Whipped Goat Cheese

  • 8 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

Maple Apple Bacon Topping

  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice

  • Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease in the pan.
  • Add the diced apples to the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  • Stir in the pecans, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, Dijon, and apple cider vinegar. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything is caramelized and glossy.
  • Stir the crispy bacon back into the mixture.
  • In a bowl, whip together the goat cheese, cream cheese, maple syrup, and salt until smooth.
  • Spread the whipped goat cheese onto a serving plate or shallow bowl. Spoon the warm maple apple bacon topping over the cheese.
