Chili Cheese Dip

This Chili Cheese Dip is a rich and savory appetizer that comes together in a snap. It's a fantastic crowd-pleaser with its deep chili flavor and gooey, cheesy finish.

Ingredients 

  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can diced and fire roasted tomatoes, drained
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Chopped Parsley, to garnish

Instructions 

  • Place a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef to the pan and cook, breaking up the meat, until it is cooked through (about 5-8 minutes).
  • Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, chili powder, garlic powder and paprika and stir to combine. Let simmer for 5 minutes for all the flavors to combine and thicken.
  • Add in cream cheese and shredded cheese and stir to combine until cheese is melted.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour into a serving dish and top with extra cheese.
  • Place under the broiler in the oven for a minute until melted.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve with Frito scoops!
